Amanda jane cooper biography

Amanda Jane Cooper is most known for serving as the 15th Anniversary and Commercial Glinda in WICKED on Broadway and as one of the show's longest running actors to ever play the role. You've seen her on shows like "Glee", "Jessie" on Disney, "Bones", "Hello Ladies" on HBO, "CSI", "Selfie" on ABC, "Law & Order: SVU" and she's appeared on Showtime, Hallmark & Lifetime, as well as in several films.

She recently returned from premiering the Pre-Broadway run of Stephen Schwartz’s new musical THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES starring Kristin Chenoweth at the storied Emerson Colonial Theatre in Boston.

Amanda grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She earned a BFA in Acting & Musical Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University.

While at CMU, Amanda landed her first film role in “Smart People” starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Dennis Quaid. And then in “Homecoming", playing Mischa Barton's best friend.
