Former Palestinian sniper speaks about his conversion to Christianity
PEORIA — Tass Saada came to the United States more than 40 years ago hoping to get an education as a way to fight Israelis.
But the things he learned while in the United States changed his life in ways he could have never imagined.

He went from a sniper for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to converting to Christianity and having a ministry in Israel, the nation he sought to destroy. On Saturday, Saada spoke to almost 1,500 people at Northwoods Community Church, 10700 N. Allen Road. He will speak again at the church during services at 9 a.m.
